The Summer I was Young Again - Alternate Ending B (16725)
The Summer I was Young Again - Ending B (16725)

story by Jephael

Jeff and the Turtles waited quietly as Splinter looked over the two switches that would determine the universe's fate. One was marked 16725, and the other 25852. He thought long and hard over the consequences that would befall the world if he made the wrong choice. Splinter took a deep breath as he reached his hand out towards the console and pressed his finger down on the first button.
"It... it stopped. Splinter, he... he picked the right one!"
Jeff and the Turtles all high threed each other in excitement. They had saved the day.
"Way to go, sensei!" Michaelangelo said, patting Splinter on the back.
"Thank you. I must admit, there was a moment I feared I would fail."
"We've always trusted you before, Master! That's why I decided to let you choose." Don exclaimed.
"A wise decision indeed. So my young friend, are you ready to return home?"
Jeff shrugged at the thought. "It hadn't really crossed my mind. I've really enjoyed myself here. But I guess my place is back home. Besides, I'm sure they'd probably miss me too much."
"Here, take this with you to remember us by." Leo handed Jeff his very own turtle comm to keep as a memento.
"Wow, thanks! Do you think I could call you guys on it?"
"If you ever feel like visiting us again, let me know. That way I can set up my dimensional portal to bring you back to the lair." Don replied.
"For sure. Be sure to say goodbye to James and Jillian for us!" Mike said, high fiving Jeff one last time. "Thanks again for helping us out of this jam!"
"No problemo!" Jeff said with a grin. The young turtle took one last look at his friends before leaping into the wormhole.
No sooner did Donatello close the portal, but something strange began to happen. "Oh no."
"What's going on? I thought we stopped the time pull, Donnie!" Raphael said.
"Not exactly. We stopped it from rewinding the real world, but it looks as if it's having an effect on ours instead!"
"Is there anyway you can stop it?" Leonardo asked.
"I'm afraid not. Come on, lets get out of here!"

* * *

That same moment Jeff found himself back in the Pizza Hut where had been sitting with James and Jillian.
"Jeff. are you okay? You kinda zoned out there for a minute."
"Yea, I'm fine, Jill. I uh... was having a weird daydream!" he exclaimed as he looked down at the floor and noticed something near his foot. "Hey, check this out!"
  "What is it?" James asked.
"It looks a Turtle Comm somebody made."
"Turtle Comm, as in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Man, I haven't watched that show in ages!" Jillian replied.
"Me neither. Hey remember that Vanilla Ice song in the second movie?"
"I try hard to forget it, James." Jeff replied with a chuckle. "Hey we should hang out at my place sometime and play my video games!"
"Sounds good to me!" Jillian said.
The three friends split their bill before leaving the restaurant again, with no recollection of the adventure they had just lived.

Jeff,
Your story was superb! I really enjoyed reading it; you have a gift!!! I thought that making up two different endings was extremely creative. Way to go on a job well done!
